What is Proposed?
Green Capital Limited Partnership has made an application to amend the Official and Zoning By-law to permit a mixed-use high-rise development at 10 Royal Orchard Boulevard, File No. PLAN 19 137814. The plan proposes 4 towers of 50, 38, 36 ad 27 storeys in addition to multi storey podiums containing 1668 units, 3300 m2 of retail space and a public park of 0.29 ha (0.71 acres).
Status
The developer submitted a modified plan in 2022 upon confirmation of the subway station at Royal Orchard. A public meeting was held on July 5th, 2022.
Markham planning staff anticipate a resubmission in the coming months.
This will be a formal resubmission that will be circulated to all external agencies and internal departments for review and comment.
